I’m Emma—the designer and founder behind Lotus Design.
My journey into florals didn’t start in a studio—it started after I made the decision to walk away from my corporate career and build something more creative and meaningful. I got my start making bouquets for my neighbor’s roadside stand, and what began as something simple quickly turned into something I couldn’t ignore.
I fell in love with the process—the way flowers move, the way they can feel both effortless and impactful at the same time. That early, hands-on beginning still shapes how I design today. I’m drawn to an organic, natural aesthetic—designs that feel artful, a little undone, and deeply intentional rather than overly structured.
Now, through Lotus Design, I specialize in creating elevated, statement-driven floral designs for weddings—focusing on the moments that truly transform a space and leave a lasting impression. But just as important as the design itself is the experience. I care deeply about the connection I build with each of my couples, making sure they feel understood, supported, and confident throughout the entire process.
A few things that will always be true about me: I’ll choose an organic, natural palette over anything overly polished, I believe the best designs look effortless but make a statement, and I’m almost always running on a strong latte and a vision.
